It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #weeklyrecap

Good Morning 🌞 Happy Monday!

Last Week…

We had RAIN! Like constant downpour for hours! And after we got to see this! We Californians are not used to more than a few minutes of the wet stuff!

Reading last week was fairly light and I spent a whole day cleaning up the blog (more on that later). Check out the new menu☝🏻when you get a chance.

And in other news, according to the WP stats – the blog reached the Best Views Ever on December 4th! Wow! Thanks everyone for all the love. ❤️

I’m continuing #ALiteraryChristmas and reading as many Christmas themed books as I can this month. I finished Christmas in London by Anita Hughes and Miracle at the Museum of Broken Hearts by Talli Roland last week.

On Thursday I had a “working” breakfast meeting and I hope to have some exciting news to report soon. Fingers crossed 🤞

We hosted an author pop-up event on Saturday at our Little Free Library and it deserved its own post! You can read all about it here.

Currently Reading…

I’ve almost finished Christmas at Cranberry Cottage by Talli Roland. I’ve also started The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis for a group read. And because it’s been on my list forever… I’m very excited to read Last Christmas in Paris by Heather Webb and Hazel Gaynor.

Book Friends are the best…

I need to gush for a minute about a wonderful friend “S”. She’s an online book friend who has become a real friend! We’ve been exchanging books and sending little goodies but this girl went crazy and sent the most perfect and thoughtful “self care” package. I’m glad to know her and her generous heart ❤️.

Before I Go…

If you follow me on Instagram- make sure you’ve entered my 500th Post Giveaway! I’ll be doing several book giveaways before the end of the year!

QOTD: So tell me, what’s on for your week? Holiday shopping? Christmas parties? How do you celebrate?
